Karie J. Boyd

Karie Boyd is the lead Trial Attorney and CEO of Boyd Law. She delivers case-winning results for her clients in trial as well as positions her clients for attractive out of court settlements. Ms. Boyd represents clients in both State and Federal Court. Her litigation experience includes both jury and bench trials, involving litigation matters such as: business litigation, real estate litigation, trust and estate litigation, and high net worth martial disputes.

Matthew Cadwell

Matt Cadwell is a Managing Attorney in the Family Law Division at Boyd Law. His practice focuses exclusively on Family Law matters. Mr. Cadwell has had the pleasure of working with high-net-worth clientele, teachers, members of the armed services, border patrol, Hollywood executives, entertainers and politicians.

Ethan Tidwell

Ethan Tidwell is the Managing Attorney for Boyd Law, APC’s Los Angeles office. Mr. Tidwell has dedicated his legal career to the practice of family law exclusively. With a client-centered approach that prioritizes settlement where possible but does not shy away from litigation when necessary, Mr. Tidwell is committed to achieving favorable outcomes for his clients by tailoring his case strategy to each client’s individual needs.

Mr. Tidwell has been recognized for his outstanding work in the field of family law, including most recently being named to the Thomas Reuters Super Lawyers Rising Stars list for the years 2024 and 2025.

Joshua Fabian

Joshua L. Fabian is an associate Attorney in the Family Law Division at Boyd Law. Mr. Fabian’s practice at Boyd Law focuses exclusively on family law matters, including dissolution, legal separation, and parentage proceedings, child custody and visitation long cause hearings, property division including experience with forensic evaluations, orders for and post judgment modifications of child support, spousal support, and attorney’s fees and costs, establishment of parental relationships, review of marital settlement agreements and contempt proceedings.

Mr. Ha is an Associate Attorney at Boyd Law. Mr. Ha's primary area of focus is contract litigation, and partnership disputes. Mr. Ha graduated from University of California, San Diego in Economics and attended University of San Diego School of Law.

Sarah has almost a decade of experience dedicated exclusively to the practice of family law. Prior to joining Boyd Law APC, Sarah honed her skills at boutique Law firms across Los Angeles, handling cases from inception through trial or settlement.

Edlin Martin is an associate attorney with Boyd Law. Her practice focuses exclusively on Family Law. Ms. Martin specializes in litigation of high-conflict Family Law issues such as domestic violence restraining orders, move-away cases, and child custody and visitation arrangements.

Kimberly Vara

Kimberly Vara is the Executive Director of Boyd Law. Kimberly has been with Boyd Law since 2016. Kimberly brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Boyd Law. For the past 7 years Kimberly has worked hand in hand with our billing department. After studying at Grand Canyon University for a Bachelors Degree in Business Kimberly joined Boyd Law as a Billing Specialist and has grown within the company.

Ashley Hoffman is a paralegal at Boyd Law and works in the firm’s Orange County Office.

Ms. Hoffman is a graduate of University of La Verne, where she remained involved with her women’s fraternity, Alpha Omicron Pi, and the Gender-Sexuality Alliance (GSA). She graduated summa cum laudeand earned her Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies.

Prior to working for Boyd Law, Ms. Hoffman gained experience interning for a boutique law firm in San Bernardino County.

Jordan Roberts-Diem is a Family Law Paralegal at Boyd Law located in our Los Angeles office. Jordan spent her career before Boyd Law working at the high-end boutique family law firms that practice complex litigation with high end clients. I worked for Robert M. Cohen, Kleeman & Kremen, Brot & Gross, etc. I spent 10 years with Robert M. Cohen on North Canon Drive in Beverly Hills.

Budd Barmeyer

Prior to becoming the in-house Legal Recruiter and HR Coordinator for Boyd Law APC, Budd worked for over 15 years as a Senior Manager in the Hospitality industry, running hotels for brands such as Marriott International and Intercontinental Hotels & Resorts. He relishes meshing his gracious service skills and outgoing personality with recruiting talented attorneys and legal support staff for the excellent opportunities that Boyd Law's growing firm offers.
